NMCB 14 Alumni Association's Sixth Annual Reunion

For the detailed timeline of events, click here. We hope that each member and guest will support the schedule of events. The hotel amenities we have received depend heavily on your participation.

Dress for the reunion will be casual.

Hospitality Room

Check at the front desk or follow the signs to the hospitality room. .  The Reunion registration table will be here.  Chairs and tables for snack food, cold drinks, beer, and other beverages will be available. Members are encouraged to bring snack food (cookies, candy, chips, dips, etc.). A sign-up sheet will be available for volunteers to man the hospitality room throughout the weekend. Mike Wood will be in charge.

Silent Auction and Raffle

 The Silent Auction and Raffle(s) will include a major prize, craft items donated by the Officers and Board members, additional craft items donated by the general membership, a 50/50 drawing and a door prize.  Final details will be provided in the Summer 2011 Newsletter (to be published in September 2011).  The proceeds from these will benefit the fund for aiding the families of those KIAs and WIAs from NMCB 14 and/or the Operating Budget of NMCB 14 Alumni Association.

 Available Tours/Activities

Victory III Cruise:   A cruise of St Augustine Bay on the Victory III has been arranged at a cost of $25.00 per person.  Buses from NAX JAX ITT will pick us up at 0930 and transport us to St. Augustine and back.  Buses will return us to the hotel no later than 1600 hours.  This will be a private cruise lasting approximately 1.5 hours with additional time for eating and sight seeing in St. Augustine.  More information can be found about the cruise at http://www.scenic-cruise.com/

Entertainment

Entertainment this year will be provided by Mrs. Rhonda Hambright.

Shirts, Hats, & Jackets

NMCB 14 Alumni Association polo shirts, ball hats, cowboy hats, and jackets will be physically on site for sale at registration. No waiting and available on spot.

Golf Outings

Golf tee times will be available at the NAS JAX Golf Course on Friday morning, November 4, 2011 for those wishing to participate.  A call must be made to the golf course at 904-542-3249 six (6) days in advance to request tee times for November 4, 2011.  Note: Cut off date to request a tee time is Saturday, October 29, 2011.  Cost of 18 holes for military personnel is: E-5 and below $22.50, E-6 and above $25.50 and $31.50 for civilian personnel.  In addition, golf carts are available for $12.  Range balls are also available for $4.00 a bucket, if desired.  The course opens a 6:30AM.  When you call, let them know you are with NMCB14 Alumni Association.   Breakfast is available in the restaurant adjacent to the Pro-Shop starting at 6:00 am.
